Enrolled families get exclusive access to our on-line, professionally filmed and edited program so you can follow along at home to practice weekly!

Lesley Shade, Canine Behavior Specialist & Dog Trainer

VSA-CDT, CPDT-KA, Fear Free Certified

My name is Lesley and most of my earliest memories are around moments that involve dogs. I spent 10 years developing a very different career in a corporate setting after graduating from the University of Richmond. For me, I wanted a change to do work that I felt was more fulfilling, like working with families and their dogs! I joined AADT as a professional trainer in 2018 and went on to graduate with Distinction from the Victoria Stilwell Academy for Dog Training & Behavior, and later earned my CPDT-KA and Fear Free Trainer credentials.

I have been involved in AADT since its inception in 2015 helping Founder, David Shade with operations and social media! It wasn't until our boxer, Otis, adopted from a local shelter displayed behaviors that he struggled with that I became focused on helping him feel better and was inspired to help others too!

In my spare time, I enjoy going camping with my family which includes our 3 dogs Sam, Otis, and Sarge.
